GETTING INVOLVED

Want to take part in something that may potentially help to make a difference? Want to expand your career horizons? Want to be part of a diverse group of budding international researchers? Then why not get involved!

As a society of the Newcastle University Students Union, we are run entirely by students, for students and welcome any Newcastle University student from any background and academic discipline. Simply sign up to become a member on the society page of the NUSU website. You will then automatically be added to our society mailing list, where we will invite you to sign up to our Facebook group, which we use to notify members of all regular and project meetings and any social event.

If you are NOT a student of Newcastle University, but still wish to get involved, you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ for general updates of the society's general activities. Occasionally, we will host public events that you will be welcome to take part in. We do also invite speakers from other universities and different institutions to give a presentation to the public or to our members, which we organise through the University and the Student Union. If you would like to get involved in some of our work, please contact us directly through our Contact Page, and state how you like to get involved. If your request is approved, we will send you a non-disclosure agreement for you to sign via e-mail and upon receipt of this, we will add you to our Dropbox, Facebook and Skype groups.
