OUR WORK

Publishing Our First Society Journal

Expected Release Date: 22nd February 2017

Many of our members are currently pursuing PhDs and Masters degrees relating to clean energy and food security. We are therefore holding our second annual conference that will focus on these two topics, which will allow our members, as well as fellow researchers and students, to present their own work to a wider audience. Currently, our presenting members are involved in preparing their written papers for this conference which we will release as part of our first society journal. The journal will also contain papers from other presenters who have kindly volunteered to showcase their work. Following this, we will be working on our project articles/dissertations for the remainder of the 2016/17 academic year.

Interested in presenting at the conference?

Building Our Own News and Research Blog

Expected Release Date: 3rd April 2017

Our members are currently planning to set-up and write content for the Society's own news and research blog. This will provide various articles of current political and economic affairs in the Sub-Saharan African region, either within a national, multi-national or regional sement, as well as various social issues. We will also look at the latest developments in the new groundbreaking research that is helping to promote progress in long-term sustainable development across the world and discuss its potential applications in Sub-Saharan Africa. The blog will extend the current functionality of the website and can be found in the "Blog" section of the menu, which will appear once the blog is completed.
